The cover of this book totally made me want to review this book. I think Kate did a fabulous job describing how we as moms get caught in trying to be the perfect mother and wife and so often God has greater plans for us. We need to take our eyes off of social medial and society and focus on being the Daughter of the King and what He has in store for us. This book is filled with encouragement and inspiration and just made me laugh as I read this book. Being the perfect mother is impossible and as soon as we realize that being the mom that God created us to be we are able to get past perfect and enjoy what we have been given. There are a lot of Catholic references but anyone can read this book and have totally understanding and enjoyment. I received this book to review and totally enjoyed reviewing it.

If your looking for a light hearted, fast, fun beach read then this is the book for you. Actually if you enjoy a clean contemporary romance book then you would certainly enjoy this book. Eric and Jayla are fun characters that Rachel Matthews does a wonderful job in their character development and truly getting to know these two individuals.

Eric is a business man that is a widow and does not want to love again or even explore the possibilities. He is often detached, distant or hardhearted towards women that he meets. Jayla is an energetic, authentic, positive and heartfelt photographer. She has a strong passion for her photography, especially the possibility of an amazing job in Rio. The writer does a great job of world building and describing the scenery of Rio, California and New York.

Little does Jayla know that this potential job is a set up by Eric and he has an important question to ask her. Eric needs Jayla's help to satisfy his potential investors for a job in Rio. Pretending can only go so far because there is a connection between Jayla and Eric. There is not only a connection emotionally but also physically. This is certainly a case of opposites attract. Will Jayla help soften Eric's hard heart and open the door up for love?

While this book is pretty predictable it is still enjoyable to read. There are some discrepancies throughout the book but just in some of the little details. I did receive this book for an honest review from ebooks.

Imagine a world where you could escape to when life seems to be heading down a path that you do not enjoy. Livy at a young age is introduced to fairies and a fairy land that helped her especially when her parents divorced. Her mom decided to "homeschool" her but her mom also has a drinking and drug problem. Life seemed to be moving along until Child Protective Services arrives at their doorstep and removes Livy from her mom's and she has to move in with her dad and step mom. Livy is not fond of her stepmother and the parenting style at their house and often escapes to her fairy land or does she? One might question is this true magical realism or a mental breakdown!

Stevens did a fantastic job in world building. I could often imagine exactly what was happening and felt a lot of compassion for Livy. I was captivated from the beginning and could not wait to see how this story ended. This book does contain several trigger issues that are discussed throughout this book. Livy's life is turned upside down when her parents divorced but shortly after moving into her dads house things begin to change. Stevens does a great job with character development. Livy truly is a strong young lady who learns to stand up for herself and learns to overcome and love. Stevens creative writing certainly shows and I totally enjoyed reading Fairy Ring. This was my first time reading a book by Jacque Stevens and can't wait to read other books.

I did receive this book for an honest review.
